Updated , from University of Delhi's published lists.
A seat is one course at one college. It counts for a score when its closing score, the last score University of Delhi allocated it at in a round, was at or below that score in any round. Four-paper courses are marked out of 1000; the science courses that count three domain papers are marked out of 750, and each is read only against its own scale.
What each score opened, 2026
A reserved-category candidate is counted for a seat when either its UR line or their own category's line closed at or below the score: UR seats are filled on merit and are open to every category.

Science courses, out of 750
23 DU science courses count only the three domain papers, so their scores run to 750 and are never read against a four-paper total. Pick “out of 750” in the lookup to see the seats.

Questions
- What CUET score do I need for DU?
- There is no one score: every seat closes at its own. In 2026, a quarter of DU's 1,192 four-paper seats closed at or below 499.37 for UR in some round, half at or below 592.49 and three quarters at or below 708.59. The hardest, B.A. (Hons.) Political Science at Hindu College, never went below 956.26.
- What is the lowest CUET score that got a DU seat?
- The lowest UR closing score of any four-paper seat in Round 1 of 2026 was 67.89, for B.A. (Hons.) Hindi at Mata Sundri College for Women. Later rounds closed lower still.
- Do DU's B.Sc. science courses use the same score?
- No. 23 DU science courses count only the three domain papers, so their scores are out of 750 and cannot be read against a four-paper total out of 1000.
- Is the 2026 cut-off the score I will need in 2027?
- Only as a guide. CUET is normalised afresh every year and seat numbers change, so a 2026 closing score says how hard a seat was that year, not the score that will close it next year.
What this page cannot tell you
- Where you will get in. University of Delhi allocates by the order of your preferences and the seats left in each round; a closing score only says who was allocated last.
- What 2027 will close at. CUET is normalised afresh each year, and seats and paper rules change, so 2026's lists are a guide to 2027, not a forecast.
- The courses that add University of Delhi's own test: B.Sc. Physical Education, Health Education and Sports (PE, HE & S), B.A. (Hons.) Music: Vocal/Instrumental (Sitar/Sarod/Guitar/Violin/Santoor), B.A. (Hons.) Hindustani Music: Percussion (Tabla/Pakhawaj), B.A. (Hons.) Karnatak Music: Vocal/Instrumental (Veena/Violin), and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Their merit is half CUET and half the test, so no CUET score can be read against them.
