CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. C to D is +1, A to C is +2, M to P is +3, E to I is +4, L to Q is +5: each letter moves forward by its position in the word.

  2. HOUSE: H+1 = I, O+2 = Q, U+3 = X, S+4 = W, E+5 = J.

  3. The code is IQXWJ.

Worth noting

IPVTF uses +1 for every letter. GMROZ moves each letter BACK by its position. IQXVJ adds only 3 to S.
