CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. As written, the left side is 6×2+4−6=106 \times 2 + 4 - 6 = 10, not 28.

  2. Interchange − and ×: 18÷3−2+4×6=6−2+24=2818 \div 3 - 2 + 4 \times 6 = 6 - 2 + 24 = 28. This works.

  3. Check the others: + and − gives 12−4+6=1412 - 4 + 6 = 14; + and × gives 6+2×4−6=86 + 2 \times 4 - 6 = 8; × and ÷ gives 18×3÷2+4−6=2518 \times 3 \div 2 + 4 - 6 = 25.

  4. Only interchanging − and × gives 28.

Worth noting

Test each interchange with the order of operations: division and multiplication before addition and subtraction.
