CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Farah moves into Gopal's place, so her new place is 9th from the left.

  2. That place is 11th from the right.

  3. Total =9+11−1=19= 9 + 11 - 1 = 19. (Farah was at 9−6=39 - 6 = 3rd from the left.)

Worth noting

25 adds the 6 places to Gopal's position, as if Farah ended at 9+6=159 + 6 = 15. She ends where Gopal WAS. 20 forgets to subtract 1.
