CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

The award was instituted as the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award.
It was renamed the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award on 6 August 2021.
The other three are separate awards that were not renamed, and each has its own criterion.

Worth noting

Material written before and after August 2021 uses different names for the same award, which is why a question can be built on either. The date is the thing to hold.
