CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Cost price of the mixture: 6×38+4×4310=228+17210=40\frac{6 \times 38 + 4 \times 43}{10} = \frac{228 + 172}{10} = 40 rupees per kg.

  2. Profit is ₹6 on every ₹40, which is 640×100=15%\frac{6}{40} \times 100 = 15\%.

Worth noting

6% writes the profit in rupees as if it were a percentage; it has to be divided by the cost.
