CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. With capacity CC, A gives C30\frac{C}{30} and B gives C20\frac{C}{20} litres a minute: C20−C30=5\frac{C}{20} - \frac{C}{30} = 5.

  2. C60=5\frac{C}{60} = 5, so C=300C = 300 litres.

Worth noting

150 litres multiplies the extra 5 litres by the 30 minutes alone.
