CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. The instalments are an annuity whose present value is the loan: E×1−(1+i)−ni=PE \times \frac{1 - (1 + i)^{-n}}{i} = P.

  2. So E=P i1−(1+i)−n=P i (1+i)n(1+i)n−1E = \frac{P\,i}{1 - (1 + i)^{-n}} = \frac{P\,i\,(1 + i)^{n}}{(1 + i)^{n} - 1}.

Worth noting

P(1+ni)n\frac{P(1 + ni)}{n} is the flat-rate instalment.
