Options for question 25

Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Q ends on "bring", which needs what was forgotten: P "my umbrella,". Then "so I" brings the result.

  2. R gives "I" its verb, "got completely wet on", and "on" needs a noun: S.

  3. So the order is QPRS: "I forgot to bring my umbrella, so I got completely wet on the way to the station."

Worth noting

QRPS puts "got completely wet on" straight after "bring", which makes no sense and leaves the umbrella out of the first half.
