CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. Number + reverse = 11(a+b)=12111(a + b) = 121, so a+b=11a + b = 11.

  2. a−b=3a - b = 3 gives a=7a = 7, b=4b = 4.

  3. The number is 74 (check: 74+47=12174 + 47 = 121).

Worth noting

47 also adds to 121 with its reverse, but its tens digit is the smaller one.
