CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Total runs = 12×42=50412 \times 42 = 504.

  2. Other ten innings = 10×39=39010 \times 39 = 390, so highest + lowest = 504−390=114504 - 390 = 114.

  3. Highest − lowest = 90.

  4. Highest = 114+902=102\frac{114 + 90}{2} = 102 (and lowest = 12).

Worth noting

114 is the SUM of the two scores; 12 is the lowest.
