CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. The cheaper dal is 100−90=10100 - 90 = 10 below the target; the costlier one is 120−100=20120 - 100 = 20 above it.

  2. Cheaper : costlier = 20:10=2:120 : 10 = 2 : 1 (distances taken crosswise).

  3. Check: 2×90+1×1203=3003=100\frac{2 \times 90 + 1 \times 120}{3} = \frac{300}{3} = 100.

Worth noting

₹100 is closer to ₹90, so there must be MORE of the cheaper dal. 1:21 : 2 is the reversed ratio.
