HardOriginal question

CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. The clocks drift apart by 1+1=21 + 1 = 2 minutes every hour.

  2. On a 12-hour dial they show the same time again when the gap is 12 hours =720= 720 minutes.

  3. Time =720÷2=360= 720 \div 2 = 360 hours =360÷24=15= 360 \div 24 = 15 days.

Worth noting

30 days uses a drift of 1 minute per hour instead of 2. 360 is the answer in HOURS, not days.
