CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Coal: 45%. Hydro and solar together: 20%+15%=35%20\% + 15\% = 35\%.

  2. Difference: 10% of the total.

  3. 0.10×2,40,000=24,0000.10 \times 2{,}40{,}000 = 24{,}000 MWh.

Worth noting

60,000 compares coal with hydro alone and leaves out solar. 84,000 is the hydro and solar output itself, not the difference. 1,08,000 is coal's output, not the difference.
