CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Net turn: right (+90∘)(+90^\circ) + about-turn (180∘)(180^\circ) + left (−90∘)(-90^\circ) =180∘= 180^\circ.

  2. So he ends up facing the opposite of where he began.

  3. He now faces north, so he began facing south.

Worth noting

Work backwards by undoing the net turn. North would mean the turns cancel, but the about-turn does not cancel with anything.
