Kaziranga National Park is best known as the habitat of which animal?

Explanation

1. 01

Kaziranga lies in the floodplain of the Brahmaputra in Assam, a landscape of tall grassland and marsh.

2. 02

That habitat suits the Indian one-horned rhinoceros, and Kaziranga holds the largest population of the species anywhere.

3. 03

The Asiatic lion is found in Gir in Gujarat, the snow leopard in the high Himalaya, and the great Indian bustard in the dry grasslands of Rajasthan.
