Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Eight times remain: 12.8, 13.1, 13.3, 13.5, 13.6, 13.9, 14.0, 14.4.

  2. Median = average of the 4th and 5th = 13.5+13.62=13.55\frac{13.5 + 13.6}{2} = 13.55 s.

Worth noting

13.6 s is the old median. 13.75 s is what you get if the fastest time is removed instead of the slowest.
