CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. Priyanka's salary for the year = 12 × ₹5,000 = ₹60,000. Profit left = ₹90,000.

  2. Capital ratio = 2,40,000:1,60,000=3:22{,}40{,}000 : 1{,}60{,}000 = 3 : 2, so her share = ₹90,000 × 2/52/5 = ₹36,000.

  3. Priyanka's total = ₹60,000 + ₹36,000 = ₹96,000.

Worth noting

₹63,000 counts the salary for only one month; ₹36,000 forgets the salary altogether.
