Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Amount = 10000×1.05×1.10×1.2010000 \times 1.05 \times 1.10 \times 1.20.

  2. 10,000×1.05=10,50010{,}000 \times 1.05 = 10{,}500; × 1.10=11,5501.10 = 11{,}550; × 1.20=13,8601.20 = 13{,}860.

  3. CI = ₹13,860 − ₹10,000 = ₹3,860.

Worth noting

₹3,500 adds the rates as simple interest; ₹3,310 wrongly averages the rates to 10% each year; ₹13,860 is the amount.
