CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. The two times differ by 10+5=1510 + 5 = 15 minutes =14= \frac{1}{4} h.

  2. d4−d5=14\frac{d}{4} - \frac{d}{5} = \frac{1}{4}, so d20=14\frac{d}{20} = \frac{1}{4}.

  3. d=5d = 5 km.

Worth noting

Late and early are on opposite sides of the right time, so the gap is 10+510 + 5 minutes, not 10−510 - 5.
