CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Same direction: the constable gains at 12−10=212 - 10 = 2 km/h.

  2. Gap = 200 m=0.2m = 0.2 km. Time =0.22=0.1= \frac{0.2}{2} = 0.1 h=6h = 6 min.

Worth noting

Dividing 0.2 km by 12 km/h (1 min) forgets that the pickpocket is also running away.

Concept
