Options for question 28

Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. Cheaper : dearer =(240−200):(200−180)=40:20=2:1= (240 - 200) : (200 - 180) = 40 : 20 = 2 : 1.

  2. So the cheaper tea is twice the dearer: 2×15=302 \times 15 = 30 kg.

Worth noting

7.5 kg uses the ratio upside down.
