CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Silver: 0.3×2+0.6×3=0.6+1.8=2.40.3 \times 2 + 0.6 \times 3 = 0.6 + 1.8 = 2.4 kg in 5 kg.

  2. 2.45×100=48%\frac{2.4}{5} \times 100 = 48\%.

Worth noting

45% is the simple average of 30% and 60%; there is more of the richer alloy.
