CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. In 4 minutes both fill 4(112+118)=594\left(\frac{1}{12} + \frac{1}{18}\right) = \frac{5}{9}.

  2. B fills the remaining 49\frac{4}{9} in 49×18=8\frac{4}{9} \times 18 = 8 minutes.

Worth noting

14 minutes is B's 18 minutes less the 4 already spent, as if A had added nothing.
