CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. One ace can come first or second: 452×4851\frac{4}{52} \times \frac{48}{51} for ace then not, and 4852×451\frac{48}{52} \times \frac{4}{51} for not then ace.

  2. P(X=1)=2×4×4852×51=32221P(X = 1) = 2 \times \frac{4 \times 48}{52 \times 51} = \frac{32}{221}.

Worth noting

16221\frac{16}{221} counts only the ace coming first.
