Applied Mathematics formulas for CUET Maths

Every formula and rule in CUET Maths Section B2, Applied Mathematics, on one page: modulo arithmetic, mixtures, boats and pipes, races, inequalities, marginal analysis and surpluses, probability distributions, time series, the t-test and financial maths. Read it the night before; the chapter lessons have the worked examples.

This is the short version of the fourteen Section B2 lessons. If a line here is not clear, the chapter it comes from is named in its heading.

Arithmeticreduce, then add, subtract or multiply, and reduce again
Congruencea≡b(modn)a \equiv b \pmod{n} when nn divides a−ba - b
Solving ax≡bax \equiv bsolvable when gcd⁡(a,n)\gcd(a, n) divides bb; then gcd⁡(a,n)\gcd(a, n) solutions
Residue classesnn classes modulo nn, disjoint, covering every integer
