CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. cos⁡245∘+cos⁡260∘+cos⁡2γ=1\cos^{2} 45^\circ + \cos^{2} 60^\circ + \cos^{2} \gamma = 1: 12+14+cos⁡2γ=1\frac{1}{2} + \frac{1}{4} + \cos^{2} \gamma = 1.

  2. cos⁡2γ=14\cos^{2} \gamma = \frac{1}{4}, and for an acute angle cos⁡γ=12\cos \gamma = \frac{1}{2}: γ=60∘\gamma = 60^\circ.

Worth noting

75∘75^\circ makes the angles add to 180∘180^\circ; it is the squares of the cosines that add to 1.
