CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Let the third number be x; then the second is 2x and the first is 4x.

  2. Total = x+2x+4x=7x=3×70=210x + 2x + 4x = 7x = 3 \times 70 = 210.

  3. x=30x = 30, so the numbers are 120, 60 and 30.

Worth noting

The first number is twice the SECOND, which is itself 2x, so it is 4x, not 2x.
