Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer B
Correct answer: B
Explanation
The Akademi was set up in 1954 and the first Awards were given in 1955.
A one-year gap between founding and first award is common, because the first cycle of reading and judging has to run before anything can be given.
The Jnanpith, founded on the same pattern, gave its first award in 1965.
Worth noting
Founding year and first award year are separate facts about the same institution, and an option set that offers both is testing whether you have kept them apart.
