CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. SKY: 19+11+25=5519 + 11 + 25 = 55, and 165=55×3165 = 55 \times 3. RAIN: 18+1+9+14=4218 + 1 + 9 + 14 = 42, and 168=42×4168 = 42 \times 4.

  2. So the code is the sum of the positions multiplied by the number of letters.

  3. CLOUD: 3+12+15+21+4=553 + 12 + 15 + 21 + 4 = 55, and 55×5=27555 \times 5 = 275.

Worth noting

220 multiplies by 4 (copied from RAIN) and 55 is the plain sum. The multiplier changes with the word's length.
