CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Work in centimetres: the floor is 600 cm × 450 cm = 2,70,000 cm².

  2. One tile covers 30×30=90030 \times 30 = 900 cm².

  3. Number of tiles = 2,70,000÷900=3002{,}70{,}000 \div 900 = 300. (Check: 20 tiles along the length and 15 along the width, 20×15=30020 \times 15 = 300.)

Worth noting

90 divides the area 27 m² by 0.3 instead of 0.32=0.090.3^2 = 0.09. Always convert before you divide areas.
