CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Wall volume = 1,500×30×200=90,00,0001{,}500 \times 30 \times 200 = 90{,}00{,}000 cm³.

  2. Bricks fill nine-tenths of it: 81,00,000 cm³.

  3. One brick = 25×12.5×7.5=2,343.7525 \times 12.5 \times 7.5 = 2{,}343.75 cm³.

  4. Bricks = 81,00,000÷2,343.75=3,45681{,}00{,}000 \div 2{,}343.75 = 3{,}456.

Worth noting

3,840 ignores the mortar, and 4,224 adds the mortar instead of taking it away. 38,400 slips a zero in the wall volume.
