CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Each trailing zero needs a 2×52 \times 5 pair, and 5s are scarcer than 2s, so count the 5s.

  2. Multiples of 5 up to 30: 30÷5=630 \div 5 = 6. Multiples of 25: 30÷25=130 \div 25 = 1 (25 gives an extra 5).

  3. Trailing zeros = 6+1=76 + 1 = 7.

Worth noting

Counting only multiples of 10 gives 3; forgetting that 25=5×525 = 5 \times 5 gives 6.
