CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Rohan's position from the left =50−18+1=33= 50 - 18 + 1 = 33.

  2. Kavya is at 10 and Rohan at 33, so the children between them are those at 11 to 32.

  3. Between =33−10−1=22= 33 - 10 - 1 = 22.

Worth noting

23 is the plain difference 33−1033 - 10, which counts Rohan too. Shortcut when the two do not cross: between =50−(10+18)=22= 50 - (10 + 18) = 22.
