CorrectNot quiteAnswer D

Correct answer: D

Explanation

  1. Left of and including Mehul: 11 people.

  2. Between them: 6 people. Divya and everyone to her right: 16 people.

  3. Total =11+6+16=33= 11 + 6 + 16 = 33.

Worth noting

32 subtracts 1 as if someone were counted twice, but no one is: Mehul and Divya are different people and the three groups do not overlap. 26 is 11+16−111 + 16 - 1, which ignores the 6 in between; 27 is 11+1611 + 16, which also ignores them.
