CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Sita is behind Ravi, so she is at least 16th from the front.

  2. If she is exactly 16th from the front and 9th from the back, the queue has 16+9−1=2416 + 9 - 1 = 24 people.

  3. Any gap between them only adds people, so the minimum is 24.

Worth noting

23 is 15+9−115 + 9 - 1, which would make Ravi and Sita the same person. Two different people need at least one more place.
