CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Equal shares mean equal capital × time: 30,000×12=45,000×t30{,}000 \times 12 = 45{,}000 \times t.

  2. t=3,60,000÷45,000=8t = 3{,}60{,}000 \div 45{,}000 = 8, so Pooja's money was in for 8 months.

  3. She joined after 12−8=412 - 8 = 4 months.

Worth noting

8 is how long Pooja's money stayed in the business, not when she joined.
