CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. For 2 years, CI − SI = P(R100)2P\left(\frac{R}{100}\right)^2.

  2. = 10000×(5100)2=10000×1400=2510000 \times \left(\frac{5}{100}\right)^2 = 10000 \times \frac{1}{400} = 25, so the difference is ₹25.

Worth noting

The difference is the interest on the first year's interest (5% of ₹500). ₹1,025 is the whole CI, not the difference.
