CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. Right side: 5×7−3=35−3=325 \times 7 - 3 = 35 - 3 = 32.

  2. So □÷6=32−14=18\square \div 6 = 32 - 14 = 18.

  3. Hence □=18×6=108\square = 18 \times 6 = 108.

Worth noting

Reading the right side as 5×(7−3)=205 \times (7 - 3) = 20 gives 36; forgetting to subtract 14 gives 32×6=19232 \times 6 = 192; stopping at 18 skips the last step.
