Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. 'Of' first: 35×75=45\frac{3}{5} \times 75 = 45.

  2. Division and multiplication left to right: 18÷3=618 \div 3 = 6, 6×2=126 \times 2 = 12.

  3. Then 45−12+4=3745 - 12 + 4 = 37.

Worth noting

Multiplying 3×23 \times 2 first gives 18÷6=318 \div 6 = 3 and the answer 46; forgetting the ×2\times 2 gives 43.
