CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. First bracket: 72=497^2 = 49, 49−13=3649 - 13 = 36, 36÷4=936 \div 4 = 9.

  2. Second bracket: 18−6=1218 - 6 = 12, 12÷3=412 \div 3 = 4.

  3. Product: 9×4=369 \times 4 = 36.

Worth noting

Reading 727^2 as 7×2=147 \times 2 = 14 is the slip behind 1. The operation between the two brackets is multiplication, so adding them (13) is wrong too.
