Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. 0.5×18=90.5 \times 18 = 9.

  2. 36÷0.4=360÷4=9036 \div 0.4 = 360 \div 4 = 90.

  3. Then 9+90−7=929 + 90 - 7 = 92.

Worth noting

Dividing by a decimal less than 1 makes a number bigger. Writing 36÷0.4=936 \div 0.4 = 9 leads to 11.
