CorrectNot quiteAnswer C

Correct answer: C

Explanation

  1. 0.6‾=690.\overline{6} = \frac{6}{9} and 0.7‾=790.\overline{7} = \frac{7}{9}.

  2. Sum =139=149= \frac{13}{9} = 1\frac{4}{9}.

Worth noting

Adding as terminating decimals, 0.6+0.7=1.3=13100.6 + 0.7 = 1.3 = \frac{13}{10}, drops the recurring part. One repeating digit means a denominator of 9, not 99.
