CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Every multiple of 4 is even: Multiples of 4 sits inside Even numbers.

  2. 6 is even and a multiple of 3, while 3 is not even and 2 is not a multiple of 3: Multiples of 3 overlaps Even numbers.

  3. 12 is a multiple of both 3 and 4, and 8 and 9 each belong to only one: Multiples of 3 overlaps Multiples of 4 as well.

  4. So a small circle inside a larger one, with a third circle overlapping both.

Worth noting

Missing 12 leads to the picture where the third circle touches only the larger circle. Always test a common multiple (here 12, the LCM).
