CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Take 1 litre from each. Milk: 23+35=1915\frac{2}{3} + \frac{3}{5} = \frac{19}{15}; water: 13+25=1115\frac{1}{3} + \frac{2}{5} = \frac{11}{15}.

  2. So milk : water =19:11= 19 : 11.

Worth noting

5:35 : 3 adds the ratio terms, (2+3):(1+2)(2 + 3) : (1 + 2), which is wrong because the jars' parts are of different sizes.
