CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Milk now: 32 litres. The 10 litres taken out are a quarter of the mixture, so they take a quarter of the milk, 8 litres.

  2. 32−840=2440=60%\frac{32 - 8}{40} = \frac{24}{40} = 60\%.

Worth noting

55% takes all 10 litres out of the milk, as if the mixture were pure milk.
