Options for question 60

Show the answer and explanation
CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Outside sin⁡u\sin u, inside u=log⁡xu = \log x, u′=1xu' = \frac{1}{x}.

  2. cos⁡(log⁡x)⋅1x=cos⁡(log⁡x)x\cos(\log x) \cdot \frac{1}{x} = \frac{\cos(\log x)}{x}.

Worth noting

cos⁡(log⁡x)\cos(\log x) stops before multiplying by the derivative of the inner log⁡x\log x.
