CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Integrate term by term with the standard forms: ∫xn dx=xn+1n+1\int x^n\,dx = \frac{x^{n+1}}{n+1}, ∫1x dx=log⁡∣x∣\int \frac{1}{x}\,dx = \log|x|, ∫ex dx=ex\int e^x\,dx = e^x.

  2. ∫(3ex+4x) dx=3ex+4log⁡∣x∣+C\int \left(3 e^{x} + \frac{4}{x}\right)\,dx = 3 e^{x} + 4 \log\left|x\right| + C.

  3. Check: differentiating the answer gives back the integrand.

Worth noting

3ex−4x23 e^{x} - \frac{4}{x^{2}} differentiates instead of integrating.
