CorrectNot quiteAnswer A

Correct answer: A

Explanation

  1. Put t=sin⁡xt = \sin x, dt=cos⁡x dxdt = \cos x\,dx: ∫t dt=t22\int t\,dt = \frac{t^{2}}{2}.

  2. =sin⁡2x2+C= \frac{\sin^{2} x}{2} + C. (Through sin⁡xcos⁡x=12sin⁡2x\sin x\cos x = \frac{1}{2}\sin 2x one gets −cos⁡2x4+C-\frac{\cos 2x}{4} + C, the same up to the constant.)

Worth noting

cos⁡2x2\frac{\cos^{2} x}{2} has the sign wrong: its derivative is −sin⁡xcos⁡x-\sin x\cos x.
