CorrectNot quiteAnswer B

Correct answer: B

Explanation

  1. Put t=x2+4t = x^{2} + 4, so dt=2x dxdt = 2x\,dx and x dx=dt2x\,dx = \frac{dt}{2}.

  2. 12∫t1/2 dt=12⋅23t3/2=13(x2+4)3/2+C\frac{1}{2}\int t^{1/2}\,dt = \frac{1}{2} \cdot \frac{2}{3}t^{3/2} = \frac{1}{3}(x^{2} + 4)^{3/2} + C.

Worth noting

23\frac{2}{3} forgets the 12\frac{1}{2} from x dx=dt2x\,dx = \frac{dt}{2}.
